Digital Color

UCBerkely Extension, Course

Ever wondered why your artwork looks different on screen than it does in print? Why the same Web page looks different on your home computer than it does on your computer at work? This course answers these and many other questions about the sometimes confusing world of digital color. You learn the differences between RGB, CMYK, and Lab colors, and how to use spot and Web-safe colors. You learn how various devices interpret, display, and reproduce color. You also gain insight into the theory of color-management workflow.
